GOWIN Semiconductor introduced SecureFPGA to help IoT OEMs address growing security threats—protecting device data and communications, preventing counterfeiting and overproduction, and doing so without increasing BOM or disrupting supply-chain flexibility. OEMs needed a turnkey way to add strong device identity and encryption without becoming security experts or raising costs.

SecureFPGA integrates Synopsys Software‑based PUF IP to deliver a hardware Root of Trust that derives an unclonable device identity from SRAM variability and provides asymmetric crypto services. The result is per‑device authentication, data encryption, and supply‑chain protections (anti‑counterfeiting and controlled provisioning) that lift the security burden from OEMs while preserving OpEx and BOM targets.
