Longview, a Carnegie Technologies company, developed an out-of-the-box IoT asset management platform for industrial customers but needed a reliable security partner to build a scalable, automated triple-layer security framework and secure its device supply chain. The startup sought easy-to-use APIs to minimize integration effort, automated CA/RA services to reduce manual management, and in-field sensor identification to support deployment and ongoing operations.

Longview partnered with GlobalSign and Synopsys to combine LoRaWAN’s native encryption, Synopsys SRAM PUF device-specific keys, and GlobalSign’s IoT Identity Platform (including IoT Edge Enroll) for private/public CA-backed certificate provisioning (IDevIDs/LDevIDs). The solution automated certificate lifecycle management, reduced development costs and time-to-market, streamlined CA/RA administration, enabled in-field device enrollment, and secured the supply chain from manufacturing through deployment.
