Sialkot International Airport, Pakistan’s first greenfield airport and a major export hub handling over a million travelers, needed a simple but comprehensive way to protect its growing digital assets against evolving cybersecurity threats. To meet this challenge they engaged Synology Inc., deploying Cloud Station Backup and Snapshot Replication on RS2416RP+ appliances to provide continuous PC protection and scheduled disaster recovery.

Synology Inc. implemented Cloud Station Backup to deliver real-time incremental backups for more than 100 Windows PCs and laptops, enabling self-restore to any point in time and reducing IT administration effort. They also used Snapshot Replication to create Btrfs snapshots in seconds and replicate them between primary and secondary RS2416RP+ units for a second layer of protection—resulting in reliable, fast recovery and allowing Sialkot International Airport’s IT team to focus on passenger services.
