Q-Park upgrades 70+ UK sites with Synology surveillance

Q-Park, one of Europe's largest parking service providers, faced challenges with an outdated and unsupported surveillance system that was prone to downtime, security vulnerabilities, and data loss. They partnered with Synology Inc. to find a newer, manageable, and future-proof security solution to meet their high standards across their UK operations.

Synology implemented its Surveillance Station using central RackStation units, deploying over 2000 cameras across various sites. The solution provided power and disk redundancy to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity, and featured a Centralized Management System for remote monitoring and updates. The integration was seamless, including AI-powered Synology cameras. As a result, Q-Park experienced a greatly improved system with real-time remote access to all sites, inspiring them to roll out Synology servers to all 70+ of their UK facilities.
