nFinite 9000, the Barcelona-based operator behind Noticias3D.com and provider of hosting and storage services to more than 30 high‑load websites, faced the challenge of delivering cost‑effective, high‑performance, scalable storage and file mobility while consolidating a virtualized infrastructure. After evaluating options, nFinite 9000 selected Synology Inc.’s RS3412xs RackStation and DSM features to address needs for virtualization support, expandable capacity, and centralized file management.

Synology Inc. deployed the RS3412xs (with optional RX1211 expansion and dual 10GbE) and Synology Cloud Station to provide centralized iSCSI/NFS storage for VMware ESXi hosts, redundant connectivity, and secure mobile file access via File Station, DS file and WebDAV. The solution reduced per‑server storage investment by centralizing resources, delivered reliable high performance and easy scalability as demand grew, and gave nFinite 9000 full control over data security and remote access — enabling them to support Noticias3D.com and over 30 client sites with improved efficiency and uptime.
