New Holland Creative is a boutique, design-driven CG studio in Paddington, Sydney that produces high-end animation for film, TV and digital campaigns. Facing daily data growth of tens to hundreds of gigabytes and intensive read/write demands from an in-house GPU render farm, the studio needed an affordable, high-capacity central file server—so they selected the Synology Inc. DiskStation DS1815+ as their NAS platform.

Synology Inc. deployed the DS1815+ with DiskStation Manager and add-on packages (Cloud Sync, Hyper Backup, FTP server, Docker, Web Station, Surveillance Station) and Synology Hybrid RAID (SHR). The DS1815+ runs over 10 TB of online SHR storage with two-disk redundancy, uses link aggregation across four Ethernet ports to support concurrent reads by multiple render nodes, and automates daily Google Drive syncs and multi-destination backups—resulting in reliable, scalable storage, smoother render workflows, and stronger data protection for New Holland Creative.
