MOprojects, a leading European interior and furniture construction company, faced a chaotic mix of third‑party cloud services and needed a high‑performance, scalable on‑premises file server with remote access, collaboration features, SMB/WebDAV/mobile/web access, granular permission controls and corporate branding. To consolidate their data and improve security they selected Synology Inc.’s RS818RP+ together with Synology Drive (they also retained a DS415+ for backup/archive purposes).

Synology Inc. implemented a 1U RS818RP+ (RAID of four Seagate IronWolf Pro 8 TB, 8 GB RAM, redundant PSU) as the “MOprojects‑Cloud,” using Synology Drive for remote file access and Synology Office for real‑time collaboration. The solution gives about 60 internal employees mobile and web access, enables ~200 customers and suppliers to access and upload project data, and uses the DS415+ as a Hyper Backup target—centralizing file sharing, improving security and version control, and simplifying workflows while delivering measurable user adoption and reliable backups.
