Love You Baby is a child photography studio founded in 2001 with more than 100 employees that needed to centralize and protect rapidly growing photo and video archives. Facing over 5 TB of existing artwork, roughly 3 TB of client data growth per year and branch stores producing about 5 GB of high‑definition images daily, their prior PC-based RAID 1/5 setups hit an 8 TB limit and suffered dropped HDDs, bad sectors and corrupt files. To meet requirements for secure centralized storage, high I/O throughput, Gigabit networking and easy maintenance, they evaluated and selected Synology Inc.’s NAS solution (DiskStation/ RackStation appliances and DSM).

Synology Inc. implemented a RackStation RS3411xs at HQ populated with ten 2 TB HDDs in RAID 10 plus dual Gigabit LAN and an RX1211 expansion unit (RAID 6) to provide at least 54 TB of capacity for five years, while DS411+II units serve branch stores. Branches run scheduled daily network backups to HQ (replacing DVD shipments), using DSM for centralized management; Synology’s HDD diagnostics and hot‑swap support reduce downtime and risk of data loss. The result is markedly improved stability, scalability and workflow efficiency—steady daily transfers from branches, less manual labor, better time management and higher employee and customer satisfaction thanks to the Synology Inc. deployment.
