Synology Inc. deployed a Synology RS812+ with an RX410 expansion unit and used Synology Backup Replicator to back up and restore notebook images. The solution’s intuitive software and high-availability hardware features (hot-swap drives, redundant fans, dual LAN failover) enabled rapid creation of backups for all 30 notebooks and fast re‑uploads when needed, ensuring smooth conference operations, reducing risk and cost compared with external drives, and reliably supporting the event’s presentations.
