Jetstar Pacific, a low-fare airline operating 700+ weekly flights to 21 destinations, faced the need to protect business‑critical data across distributed desktops, laptops and servers where existing Windows file servers and SFTP lacked easy recovery. To address this, Jetstar Pacific engaged Synology Inc., adopting Synology’s Cloud Station Backup for real‑time PC backup and Synology Hyper Backup for efficient, multi‑version server backups.

Synology Inc. deployed Cloud Station Backup to automatically back up endpoints to a primary RS3614xs+ and used Hyper Backup’s incremental and cross‑version deduplication to minimize storage while preserving multiple recovery points; the primary server is backed up to a secondary RS2416+ and a remote RS3617xs+ for disaster recovery. The solution reduced required storage substantially, enabled fast self‑service restores without IT intervention, lowered the cost and risk of data loss, and ensured reliable backup and recovery across Jetstar Pacific’s environment.
