Migration to SAP S/4 HANA paves the way for modernized systems, streamlined processes, and improved information access

Mitre 10, New Zealand’s largest home improvement and garden retailer and a co‑operative of 84 stores with over 8,000 employees, needed to modernize systems and establish a single, trusted data core to support its migration to SAP S/4 HANA. With disparate inventory and data practices across stores and an unstable ETL process threatening data quality and visibility, Mitre 10 engaged Syniti to harmonize data, stabilize ETL, and future‑proof the business.

Syniti deployed the Syniti Knowledge Platform and applied its SAP data‑migration expertise to centralize the migration, automate intelligent ETL code generation, and enforce matching, deduplication and data‑quality controls. The work produced one core system with trusted data, improved ETL output accuracy by 96% versus Mitre 10’s first pre‑Syniti release, reduced manual effort and complexity, and established governance to enable ongoing operational and customer experience improvements.
