Merit Energy Company, a large privately held U.S. oil & gas operator headquartered in Dallas, needed a data migration partner to support its SAP S/4 implementation and to deploy SAP MDG across domains—particularly to extend MDG for Production & Revenue Accounting (PRA), which required unexpected customization. Merit engaged Syniti and leveraged Syniti’s Advanced Data Migration and Management (ADMM) solution along with Syniti Rapid Data Governance (RDG) to meet these requirements and provide a maintainable, internally supportable solution.

Syniti implemented ADMM for the brownfield migration and used RDG to extend MDG for PRA, delivering on time and on budget while creating reconciliation reports for six data objects and processing roughly 20,000 vendors. The deployment auto‑filled 85% of fields via rules and derivations, reduced keystrokes by 50%, enforced data quality, reduced manual entry, surfaced cleanup areas, and improved internal audit controls—while training Merit’s team to maintain the system going forward.
