Jebsen & Jessen, a South East Asia industrial group with eight businesses and 60 legal entities, faced slow, error-prone financial closes because its legacy Hyperion management reporting wasn’t integrated with its SAP ERP system. The lack of a single, centralized finance database led to duplicated effort, manual reconciliations and the risk of inconsistent data. To address this, Jebsen & Jessen selected SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation (BPC) for SAP NetWeaver and SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards and engaged Syniti to support the migration and implementation.

With Syniti’s assistance the team completed the migration in just over five months (including two years of Hyperion data) and trained more than 200 users. The result is a natively integrated SAP ERP–SAP BPC solution that posts real-time actuals, enables one-touch consolidation across all 60 companies under IFRS, and eliminates manual reconciliations. Syniti’s work delivered a single trusted source of financial truth, faster roll-up of budgeting and planning, improved management reporting accuracy, and greater transparency for decision making.
