FrieslandCampina Partners with Syniti to Drive Competitive Advantage with Trusted Data

FrieslandCampina, a global dairy cooperative with over €14B in revenue, faced a challenge: master data in SAP was a bottleneck for getting products to market because traditional MDM focused only on basic master records. Global Director Lenno Maris needed an end-to-end Master Data Management (MDM) approach that would govern data across manufacturing, sales and procurement. FrieslandCampina selected Syniti to deliver that broader MDM vision.

Syniti collaborated with FrieslandCampina to co-develop an end-to-end MDM solution that governs all data objects and exposes trusted data across the business process. As a result, SAP master data is no longer a bottleneck: data quality errors fell roughly from half a million to about 23,000 (≈95% improvement), end-to-end throughput times were cut by at least 50% (from days/weeks to hours), and measuring points and trust in data completeness improved—enabling faster procurement, manufacturing and sales across the company.
