Kraft Foods, a global leader in food processing, faced increasing complexity as it consolidated onto SAP ECC 6.0 and prepared for global go-lives. Master data definition, rationalization and migration created resource bottlenecks and governance gaps that risked costly delays, so Kraft engaged Syniti to deliver data migration and data governance services to stabilize the program and accelerate rollout.

Syniti deployed a structured migration methodology, senior resources for rapid start-up, knowledge transfer to Kraft’s Data Delivery Service and a virtual migration model to scale without adding headcount. The engagement harmonized 35,000 customer records, enabled 40 “Boring Go Live” plant migrations by 12/2009, and left a three-person team managing nightly imports of 195 million rows—improving repeatability, lowering costs and materially reducing data exceptions during the SAP rollout.
