AyalaLand Upgrades Data Migration, Improves Operational Processes

AyalaLand Inc (ALI), one of the Philippines’ largest real estate and property development firms, was upgrading from SAP ERP 4.6C to SAP ECC 6.0 and needed to standardize and migrate massive, highly customized datasets without disrupting operations. Facing extraction and upload bottlenecks that threatened the go‑live date, AyalaLand engaged Syniti to manage the data track using Syniti’s data migration and governance services and its “Load Early, Load Often” methodology.

Syniti deployed onsite and offshore experts, knowledge transfer, and Syniti’s data migration software to execute progressive delta loads and a single “big bang” cutover. Over a little more than four months Syniti helped AyalaLand migrate 173 active companies (340 business entities) and more than 4.5 million records, cut upload duration by almost 80%, meet the tight go‑live schedule, enable new SAP ECC 6.0 functionality (including RE‑FX) and materially reduce manual effort and maintenance costs.
