Maui Jim, a global eyewear company selling in more than 100 countries, was building an online ordering platform for its tens of thousands of retail partners but faced major data-matching challenges: the platform generated new customer IDs that didn’t map to existing Maui Jim account numbers, and retailer names and addresses appeared in many inconsistent formats. To resolve this, Maui Jim engaged Syniti and its intelligent matching platform to tackle the complex customer-identification and matching problem.
Syniti implemented an advanced matching platform with a drag-and-drop canvas, contextual scoring matrix and multi-pass matching logic, supported by Syniti’s Customer Success team to configure the solution for Maui Jim’s needs. The result: hundreds of hours of manual matching avoided, improper order shipments became extremely rare, and the online ordering launch deadline was met with time to spare.
