ExxonMobil Accelerates SAP S/4HANA Transformation with Trusted Data

ExxonMobil partnered with Syniti and SAP to tackle a major global transformation challenge: replacing a highly complex legacy landscape of 12 ERP systems, about 1,000 interconnected applications, and more than 2,500 unique data objects spread across siloed environments. The company needed to modernize its business processes, data architecture, and IT systems to create a trusted single source of truth and support better analytics and AI.

Syniti helped ExxonMobil build a centralized, trusted data foundation through predictive data quality checks, automated corrections, and a repeatable data cleansing and migration environment as part of its SAP S/4HANA transformation. The program also standardized processes and reduced customizations, and ExxonMobil has already achieved 90% fit-to-standard process alignment against an original goal of 80%.
