Vocera, a leader in clinical communication and workflow solutions for hospitals and healthcare institutions, partnered with Synerzip to extend the Vocera Platform and improve the user experience across its web and mobile applications. The challenge was to build out key capabilities such as the Staff Assignment module and Messaging Console, while also helping end users better understand the origin of system alerts and alarms in a hospital environment.

Synerzip developed the initial framework using Angular 8, RxJS, and NgRx, built supporting REST web services, and later helped virtualize Vocera’s hospital room experience through the browser-based Vocera Simulator and cloud-based Federation Broker. The result was a highly interactive, HIPAA-compliant solution with advanced 3D graphics, mobile screen casting, VOIP call support, and localized workflows for regions such as Australia and the UK, all of which impressed Vocera’s leadership and led to continued engagement.
