Synerzip worked with Prediction Enhances Drilling Energy Company, an oilfield services customer that needed to simulate earth data and predict terrain and soil conditions before drilling. The challenge was to turn large volumes of geological and spatial data into forecasts that could improve drilling decisions and reduce risk in mature fields.

Synerzip built a unified data platform using Java/JEE, RESTful web services, OData V3, JBoss Teiid, EclipseLink, and related big data and analytics tools, with visualizations via Google Maps API and D3. The solution federated data from multiple sources, simplified access across silos, improved data consistency and decision-making, and helped the customer optimize drilling performance while reducing workflow inefficiencies and data quality issues.
