OrthoAccel Technologies, Inc., a Houston-based medical device company behind the AcceleDent® orthodontic system, partnered with Synerzip to improve its companion mobile app. The app supported Bluetooth connectivity to AcceleDent Optima™, treatment tracking, cloud access, and HIPAA-compliant data handling, but it had usability issues, required repeated logins, and suffered from performance problems during heavy concurrent use.

Synerzip assessed the mobile, backend, and cloud stack, then implemented biometric login with Touch ID and Face ID, resolved backend session-loss and database issues, and migrated analytics from Google Analytics to Firebase while correcting treatment records. The team also supported UAT and deployment dry runs, resulting in a smoother, more seamless user experience and stronger app performance, all while meeting strict medical-device regulatory and quality standards.
