Office Productivity and Collaboration Provider needed help enhancing its mobile and desktop productivity suite, including new functionality, better interoperability with Microsoft Office, and performance improvements in LibreOffice. Synerzip was brought in to improve the LibreOffice Writer experience on iPad and address compatibility challenges between Microsoft Office and LibreOffice file formats.

Synerzip refined LibreOffice Writer interoperability with Microsoft Word by enhancing open source libraries, mapping OOXML to ODF, and building automation for round-trip testing and file comparison. The work significantly improved support for charts, lists, tables, TOC, OLE/ActiveX, and more, while fixing about 550 crashes/file corruptions, contributing 150 code patches, and filing 300+ defects. The app launched on time, added critical offline mode, and reached the Top 10 in the Apple App Store (US) in the productivity category.
