DevOps, a client focused on helping customers manage contracts and payables more effectively, needed DevOps expertise from Synerzip to migrate away from costly Rackspace hosting to the more affordable and customizable OnX environment. The project also involved supporting legacy application servers across production, sales demo, development, and QA environments, including Documentum-based systems.

Synerzip delivered the migration and infrastructure support by researching undocumented systems, troubleshooting server and infrastructure issues, and improving deployment processes with tools like Puppet, Open NMS, Nessus, and Robocopy. Synerzip successfully migrated 30 servers from Rackspace to OnX, shifted servers from iLand to local VMs to reduce costs, and enabled application deployment through Puppet, helping the customer cut costs and improve operational efficiency.
