Somfy, the global leader in automated opening and closing systems, needed a better way to collaborate across its procurement community and with suppliers, since buyers were spread across multiple business sites. To address this challenge, Somfy turned to SynerTrade and its eProcurement software to centralize supplier information and improve day-to-day procurement collaboration.

SynerTrade implemented RFX modules for supplier consultations and the supplier database, along with Spend Analysis and Performance Manager to consolidate supplier turnover, performance, compliance, and consultation history. As a result, Somfy gained centralized performance indicators, better supplier development management, and stronger visibility into who consults whom and why, helping the company capitalize on historical pricing and exchange data.
