Engie, a major energy group, needed to transform and rationalize procurement across its global organization to support its One For Value 2015 program and achieve ambitious cost savings. With data spread across more than 80 ERPs and a process previously managed through Excel and SQL, the company sought a modern procurement information system to improve spend visibility, supplier management, and governance. SynerTrade provided the procurement solution, including spend analysis and supplier management capabilities.

SynerTrade implemented its Procurement Solution for Engie, starting with pilot entities and then expanding to cover 90% of the group scope with the core modules. The platform was well received by around 400 users for its usability and standard functionality, and Engie planned to add contract management, eRFX, and Performance Manager. As a result, Engie gained better data reliability, productivity improvements, and the ability to track spend by category and supplier to support its cost-reduction targets.
