A Synergita Case Study
Aspire Systems, an IT services company with over 1,000 employees that grew 300% between 2007–2012 and has been repeatedly rated a top employer, was struggling with a home‑grown, manual performance appraisal process. Managers relied on offline Excel and Word files, ratings were often subjective, and HR spent significant time normalizing inputs—creating delays in training, rewards and development initiatives. Aspire selected Synergita’s Continuous Performance Management System (SaaS), including its template‑building tool, to address these challenges.
Synergita helped Aspire build customized templates with competencies, rating methodologies, goals and KPI frameworks for each division and role; managers then added individual goals and KPIs and used Synergita to run the 2012 annual appraisal and interim feedback processes for all employees. The Synergita system streamlined recommendation/approval and development meetings, enabled HR and line managers to configure the system without technical help, and supported a cultural shift from HR‑driven appraisals to business‑driven talent management.
