Capita, a global business process and professional support services firm with about 75,000 employees, was running its performance appraisals on Excel, resulting in long delays, missed one‑on‑one meetings, no HR visibility, heavy manual normalization and considerable admin overhead. To address these issues, Capita selected Synergita’s cloud‑based Employee Talent Management / Performance Management solution to automate reviews, goal setting, feedback cycles and normalization.

Synergita’s implementation shortened goal setting from about a month to under two weeks and reduced time spent on goal setting by 43% for employees, 67% for managers and 85% for HR. Appraisal cycles dropped from 3–4 months to under a month for mid‑year and under two months for annual reviews, saving managers 60% and HR 75% of appraisal-related time; normalization now completes in three days (saving ~90% manager time and ~80% HR time). Synergita also enabled two automated review cycles per year, 100% one‑on‑one meetings, a “meeting appeal” feature for transparency, instant access to historical data, and freed roughly two months of HR time for employee engagement activities.
