Wagstaff’s Applied Technology group needed a way to meet stringent government and nuclear industry document-control requirements—specifically Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA) standards—to bid on and win contracts. Manual paper-based processes were too time-consuming, so Wagstaff chose Synergis Software’s Adept document management to provide the required control, security and CAD file handling for AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Synergis Software implemented Adept through a pilot program and targeted training, integrating workflows, audit trails and parent–child management for SolidWorks assemblies. The solution made review/approval processes verifiable for auditors, eliminated bulky paper trails, extended document control across purchasing and QA records, and enabled Wagstaff to demonstrate compliance and pursue—and win—nuclear and government contracts.
