SchuF Fetterolf Rolls Out Adept Product Data Management Across Four Continents

SchuF Fetterolf, an international industrial valve company headquartered in Eppstein, Germany, faced risks from inaccurate handoffs among design teams spread across four continents, no centralized repository for fast access to data, and weak revision control, workflow and compliance processes. To solve this, SchuF selected Synergis Software’s Adept PDM as its integrated product data management solution.

Synergis Software deployed Adept across Germany, the United States, Ireland, England, Brazil and India, unifying design processes, providing tight SOLIDWORKS/AutoCAD integration, fast search, workflows and audit trails. The implementation now supports about 130 active users, reduced administration to roughly one hour a week with user changes taking five minutes, delivered an estimated 25% time savings per new site or department and effectively tripled output without adding staff, while improving revision control, shortening design cycles and simplifying ISO certification renewals.
