Fluid Components International (FCI), a manufacturer of fluid flow, level, temperature and pressure instrumentation, needed to shorten time to market by getting engineering and business documentation under control. Facing years of paper logs and flat‑file systems and with divisions using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, FCI selected Adept from Synergis Software to meet multi‑platform CAD compatibility and enterprise document-management requirements.

Synergis Software implemented Adept with staged data migration and administrator training, bringing in more than 50,000 records spanning 20 years and rolling the system out to engineering and other departments. Adept provided audit trails, version control, and linked “child” documents to drawings, improving findability and IP control, expanding use across sales and quality, and helping FCI reduce time to market for new products.
