Legacy Vacation Resorts delivers self-check-in in 4 months with Synergex

Legacy Vacation Resorts (lvr), a provider of family-friendly vacation experiences, needed to modernize its guest check-in process to minimize person-to-person contact during the COVID-19 pandemic. The challenge was to create a new web-based self-check-in system that would integrate with their existing RCC Resort Management Solution, which was developed using the Synergy/DE platform from Synergex.

Synergex, through its Harmony Core framework, helped implement a modern RESTful web service with an OData API to serve as the new application back end. This provided a secure, scalable, and industry-standard foundation for the new web portal front end. The solution allowed lvr guests to complete the entire check-in process online before arrival, drastically reducing in-person interactions. For Synergex's customer RCC, the project also successfully laid a technological foundation for future development and UI modernization.
