Ascensus, a provider of retirement plan services, was facing the challenge of its credit union clients manually entering data into both the Jack Henry Symitar core system and Ascensus' own IRAdirect Express platform. This repetitive data entry was time-consuming for staff. Synergent addressed this inefficiency with its Symitar IRA Interface solution.

The solution implemented by Synergent created a seamless, fully-integrated connection between the Symitar core and IRAdirect Express. By launching a PowerOn specfile and utilizing SAML SSO, the interface automatically transfers data captured in Symitar directly to Ascensus. This eliminated duplicative data entry, saving staff significant time and allowing them to complete applications, contributions, and withdrawals through a single user interface, thereby providing members with a better service experience.
