Solothurner Spitäler AG unifies hospital data across 5 sites with synedra IT
Solothurner Spitäler AG, a public hospital network and the largest employer in the canton of Solothurn, sought a flexible solution for managing and archiving its patient and administrative data. To meet this challenge, the customer selected synedra IT's synedra AIM to serve as a universal archive and document management system across its multiple sites.
The solution implemented by synedra provided a hospital-wide universal archive, forming the basis for an eHealth-compatible electronic health record. synedra IT replaced the existing GE PACS with synedra AIM, migrating all data and connecting all radiological modalities. This was complemented by the synedra View viewer for radiologists and synedra Web for referring physicians, which streamlined workflows and facilitated communication. The result was a unified multimedia archive that efficiently manages documents and medical images from all departments.
