Hirslanden Private Hospital Group runs 19 hospitals with synedra IT

Hirslanden Private Hospital Group, a major private hospital group in Switzerland, faced the challenge of managing and distributing vast amounts of medical imaging and structured data across its 19 hospitals and numerous specialized institutes. To centralize its data and streamline workflows, it partnered with vendor synedra IT to implement the synedra View Professional viewer and the synedra AIM Health Content Management Platform as its central PACS solution and archive.

The solution implemented by synedra IT provided a central archive for all DICOM data and laboratory results, which are converted to FHIR format. This was complemented by the synedra Web distribution solution for communicating with referring physicians and patients. The result is a highly integrated system where data is immediately available for diagnosis across all sites, improving efficiency and providing an economic alternative to physical media like CDs.
