Utoppia, a banking and payments product for the global workforce, needed a scalable and compliant platform to help freelancers and contractors outside the US get paid in USD and manage their money. After initial vendor partnerships failed to deliver, founder Stefano Angeli sought a new partner and found Synctera, which was upfront about the work required for a proper integration.

By partnering with Synctera, Utoppia was able to re-launch its product in less than three months. The solution provided customers with access to US accounts and a virtual card. This allowed Utoppia to build trust digitally and begin scaling effectively, with plans to soon launch additional financial products like physical cards and investments.
