American Warming and Ventilating - Customer Case Study

American Warming and Ventilating was charged with supplying a custom Blade Architectural Sunshade Package for the University of Michigan’s 78,000‑square‑foot School of Nursing, but faced tight timelines, budget limits and an aesthetic requirement for continuous, bold horizontal curved sunshades that typical segmented panels would compromise. To meet the architect’s vision and performance needs, the customer engaged SyncShow to deliver the custom sunshade solution.

SyncShow used detailed field measurements and AutoCAD coordination, close supplier partnerships for rolled materials, and stringent fabrication QA to produce radiused sunshade blades and fascias that preserved the building’s continuous horizontal lines. The SyncShow implementation reduced glare and summer solar heat gain, improved interior comfort, delivered cost savings through efficient sourcing, and contributed to the project earning LEED v3.0 Gold while meeting the demanding schedule.
