FileWave why we moved from ZeroMQ to NATS

FileWave, a cross-platform device management system, needed to migrate from its ZeroMQ messaging infrastructure due to several limitations. Their challenge included a lack of native TLS security, no support for web applications, and an inability to handle message persistence, all of which were strict requirements for their future needs.

The vendor, Synadia, provided its NATS platform as the solution. NATS offered easy integration, a small footprint, pre-built binaries for all required platforms, and crucially, support for mTLS and web clients. This migration by Synadia gave FileWave the secure, web-ready, and persistent messaging foundation it required for its device management operations.
