Ricola, a manufacturer of herbal drops, faced the challenge of manually sending SAP-generated PDF invoices and purchase orders to its US wholesalers via email. This inefficient process led them to seek an automated solution from the vendor Symtrax and its Compleo output management software.
Symtrax implemented its Compleo solution to automatically group PDFs by wholesaler and send them by email once a day. The solution synchronized with the SAP database to retrieve recipient addresses and limited emails to 10 attachments to avoid delivery issues. This automation, which was implemented within a week, saved Ricola approximately two hours of staff time per day and improved service with their vendors.
