Thames Water worked with SymTerra to improve the way field activity, asset references, and location data were captured and shared across its operations. The challenge was to bring together large volumes of updates, photos, hashtags, and site locations in a more structured, trackable way.

Using SymTerra, Thames Water recorded 3,790 updates and 5,977 photos in 12 months, with over 1,000 hashtags used and 543 assets referenced. The platform also captured 2,882 unique What3Words locations, supporting coverage across a wide operational area and enabling far more repeat visits and reference points across the network.
