Developing Mars a Refreshed Employer Value Proposition to Align With Their New Corporate Purpose

Symphony Talent worked with Mars to refresh the employer value proposition and visual identity after the corporate brand was repositioned around the new purpose line "Tomorrow Starts Today." The challenge was to align the existing "Grow. Beyond." employer messaging with the new corporate purpose, apply the updated visual identity across communications, and make the purpose meaningful for current and prospective talent.

The team developed the core message "Your tomorrow starts today" and an EVP built on three pillars—Purpose (Let’s work for the world we want), Development (Let’s build a better future) and People (Let’s create tomorrow together)—paired with a warm, people-centred visual language featuring custom logo shapes, bold typography, an aligned colour palette and inclusive photography. These elements were applied consistently across print, social and video, showcasing Associates’ everyday actions and delivering an optimistic, coherent employer reputation that sits harmoniously with the new corporate brand.
