Symphony Talent partnered with Sky to promote inclusivity and attract more women into Home Service Engineer roles. The challenge was stark: only 25 of Sky’s 3,000 Home Service Engineers were women, so the campaign needed to change preconceived notions about what Home Service employees look like without stereotyping or singling women out.
They ran the #UpYourStreet campaign—five “breaking news” videos featuring real engineers and Sky presenter Sarah‑Jane Mee, a news‑styled careers landing page with testimonials and application capability, plus GIFs, banners and social posts. From April–June 2018 the effort earned 2.2 million impressions, a 4.93% video CTR, 254 applications from women (4.4% of all applicants), a 76% increase in female Home Service Engineers and 19 women hired or due to start.
