A Symphony Talent Case Study
CH2M is a global, employee-owned engineering and construction firm that delivers major infrastructure projects worldwide and must attract top talent across 180+ countries. Faced with a legacy Microsoft Dynamics CRM that wasn’t built for recruiting, high advertising spend ($1.6M) and a cost per hire over $10,000, CH2M needed to centralize global recruiting, consolidate disparate tools, integrate job marketing with its ATS, and build a proactive talent pipeline.
CH2M implemented SmashFly’s Total Recruitment Marketing Platform to replace Dynamics, consolidate job distribution, build a company-owned talent network, enable social recruiting and deliver end-to-end analytics, integrating with IBM Kenexa in six weeks. The change eliminated underperforming job boards and saved $750,000 in advertising, cut cost per hire to $4,300 (over 50% savings), increased qualified candidates in the CRM for reuse by sourcers and recruiters, and improved measured candidate experience (award winner 2012–2014).
