SPORT 2000 - Customer Case Study

SPORT 2000, a multisport specialist brand and group of independent traders, needed to evolve its online presence from a basic showcase site into a full e-commerce marketplace to compete effectively. The challenge was complex due to their associated trade structure, where stock is held by individual stores and not a central warehouse, requiring an ecosystem that could integrate with their existing PIM, SCV, and OMS platforms. Sylius was chosen to provide the foundational e-commerce technology for this project.

The solution, implemented by Sylius partner Mezcalito, involved creating a custom front-office that included a faceted search system, real-time store stock consultation, and integration with order orchestration tools. The vendor, Sylius, provided the flexible framework that powered the marketplace, allowing multiple store brands to sell through a single, cohesive site with a design that respected each brand's identity. The project successfully launched an e-commerce platform that manages the group's brands and connects online sales directly to the network of independent stores.
