Mofakult, a Swiss retailer of spare parts for two-stroke mopeds from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, needed to replace its aging Magento 1.9 CE platform due to poor performance, end-of-life security risks, and limited scalability. As the company expanded across Europe, it also needed better internal processes, ERP integration, and support for country-specific compliance and content commerce.

Sylius, implemented with Fusonic, delivered a new commerce platform built around Sylius back-end with an Angular SSR SPA front end, Sulu CMS, ERP connectivity, and scalable AWS/Kubernetes infrastructure. The result was near-zero back-office wait times versus 5–10 seconds before, over 80% faster page loads after initial SPA load, stronger mobile performance, and stable response times during traffic peaks.
