From Magento 1 to Sylius an eCommerce migration at Marseille Provence Airport

Marseille Provence Airport (AMP) needed to replace its aging Magento 1-based eCommerce platform, which was limiting its ability to offer modern online services for passengers such as parking reservations, digital tickets, and VIP lounge bookings. The airport partnered with Sylius and its Premium Solution Partner ACSEO to rebuild the experience on a more flexible, secure, and integrable eCommerce foundation.

Sylius delivered a new Sylius-based platform built on Symfony and hosted on AWS, with an agile delivery model, workshops, and three-week sprints that kept the project aligned with business and technical needs. The result was a modern eCommerce solution launched in 2023 that improved the airport’s digital experience and now supports online services for more than 11 million passengers.
