Endress Motorgeräte GmbH, a leading specialist retailer for STIHL and VIKING with over 200 staff and 24 branches in southern Germany, needed to replace its legacy shop with a modern, integrated Symfony-based CMS and shop to support omnichannel selling (B2C and B2B) including Click & Collect and robust product search. The chosen solution was the Omnichannel-Box by infolox, which incorporates the Sylius Symfony-based e‑commerce framework as its core shop component.
infolox implemented the Omnichannel-Box combining Sylius, eZ Platform CMS, EPIM PIM, SOLR search and ERP/CRM connectors plus a Netgen layout builder and private‑cloud container hosting. The result is a unified omnichannel platform: Click & Collect across branch locations, fully automated product datasheet generation from the PIM, end-to-end order/ERP integration, secure high-availability operations and migrated product/customer data — delivering a scalable, secure commerce solution built around Sylius.
