ARTERA advancing digital excellence with Sylius enhancements

ARTERA, part of ALDEX sp. z o.o. and a lighting brand serving both retail customers and professionals, needed to modernize its eCommerce platform. Working with Sylius and its Global Solution Partner BitBag, the company aimed to upgrade its existing Sylius-based store, move from Sylius 1.2 to 1.11, and address several operational and user-experience challenges, including PHP compatibility, multilingual support, 3D product models, improved search, and legal compliance.

Sylius and BitBag delivered a broad platform enhancement that included the Sylius upgrade, PHP 8.1 migration, new admin automation for product assignment and PDF order generation, Google ecosystem integration, translation capabilities, backup and hosting improvements, and support for 3D model uploads and downloads. The results included faster product management, better search performance, stronger international reach, and a more engaging shopping experience for designers and architects, with added readiness for ready-made plugins and future feature expansion.
