MMC, a venture capital firm focused on funding and scaling technology companies, needed to hire an Analyst and faced the challenge of screening more than 60 applications without a dedicated recruitment team. They also wanted to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring while maintaining a strong candidate experience and reducing a process that previously took more than 20 work hours per hire.
Swyg provided its interactive video interview platform, combining peer-to-peer candidate interviews with AI to assess technical and interpersonal skills, detect bias, and produce shortlist scores for MMC. The result was an estimated 75% reduction in time spent on CV screening and introductory interviews, over 50% of shortlisted candidates being women or from minority backgrounds, and 96% of participants recommending peer-to-peer interviews.
