A SWTCH Case Study
Skyline Group of Companies, a Canadian real estate and clean energy firm, needed to install electric vehicle charging stations across its vast portfolio of multi-residential properties to meet its sustainability goals and tenant demand. The challenge was the expensive and complex process of navigating installation, electrical capacity, regulations, and government funding. They selected SWTCH to provide a complete EV charging solution to overcome these obstacles.
SWTCH implemented a tailored solution for Skyline, handling the installation of 929 Level 2 chargers and utilizing its software platform, SWTCH Control, for energy management. A key part of the solution was SWTCH's assistance in securing funding through the ZEVIP program. The result was the successful deployment of the majority of the chargers across 223 properties, providing a critical amenity for over 36,000 tenants and making it the largest EV infrastructure project funded by Natural Resources Canada to date.
