Network Rail Implements Active Risk Manager (ARM) for all Corporate, Operational and Project Risk

Network Rail, which operates Britain’s railway network, needed a better way to manage risk across projects, operations and corporate functions. It had been relying on spreadsheets and a legacy bespoke system, creating fragmented reporting and limited visibility across thousands of risks, including more than 52 separate risk register spreadsheets used for board reporting.

Sword GRC implemented Active Risk Manager (ARM) to consolidate risk management into one enterprise platform. The solution brought together around 20,000 risks, supported consistent processes and gave leaders a live, organization-wide view of risk “with one press of a button,” improving decision-making and visibility across project, operational and corporate levels.
